Jordan Drake, 5, who received a heart transplant from a 7-month-old boy named Lukas in 2013, has passed away.
Jordan's story touching story went viral after tragedy struck a family in California. After being abused by a sitter's boyfriend, Heather Clark's son, Lukas, tragically passed away from his injuries.
Clark didn't think twice about donating her son's organs.
There is another family out there, somewhere, you know who’s feeling something of what I'm feeling, somewhat, and I have the chance to make them not go through what I'm about to go through," said Clark.
In January of 2016, Jordan Drake met Heather Clark - and Clark heard her son's heart beating again for the first time.
Unfortunately in February of 2017, it was reported that Drake's heart began rejecting the heart.
She passed away on Sunday, her family sharing a note on her Facebook page.
"Jordan Mya Drake went home to be with Jesus!" the post read. "She was a tough little girl who put up one hell of a fight, but the heart rejection was just too much for her."
