Just this year alone he’s strayed from his signature side-swept look twice — first to try cornrows to match pal Hailey Baldwin, and now, his two-weeks-and-counting period with dreadlocks. As with any Bieber hairstyle change, his new do has sparked a lot of conversation. And if you’re not a fan of his most recent look, we hate to break it to you: He’s not listening.
The “Love Yourself” singer has been all about his dreads the past few weeks. And on Tuesday, in an Instagram video captioned, “Being weird is fun’ if u r not weird I don’t like you,” he addresses his fans’ expressions of dislike towards the style, in a stereotypical surfer-inspired accent harkening comparisons to SNL’s popular Californians skit. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! You know, maybe give it a little bit of a trim here and there, just to see how closely your fans are paying attention. (Very.)
