What people don't know is that "stubborn fat" behaves very differently from "regular fat" found elsewhere on your body. You can't simply burn-off "stubborn fat" the same way you would "regular fat"... it's the biggest reason why so many people consistently fail to get rid of their stubborn fat.
So why does stubborn fat seem like it’s “crazy glued” onto your body… and no matter what you do, it doesn’t seem to come off?
The answer lies within your fat cells.
Like most cells in your body, fat cells have all kinds of receptors that are responsible for carrying out various functions.  Each receptor can be seen as a lock and the keys are the various hormones and neurotransmitters.  When a key fits into a lock, a specific reaction occurs, and in this case, we’re just interested in reactions that cause fat burning.
There are only 2 kinds of receptors that you need to be concerned with when it comes to the process of burning fat… they are the alpha-2 receptor and the beta-2 receptor
The alpha-2 receptors can be seen as the bad receptors that hinder fat burning and the beta-2 receptors are the good receptors that help accelerate fat burning.  Our fat cells have both receptors and the ratio of the two receptors determines the rate at which fat is burned.
The more alpha-2 receptors there are the harder it is to burn fat and vice versa, the more beta-2 receptors the fat cell carries the easier it is to burn fat.
As you may have already guessed, stubborn fat regions typically have much higher alpha-2 receptors compared to beta-2 receptors.  And unfortunately, women tend to have more alpha-2 receptors in their stubborn fat regions then men in their perspective stubborn fat regions.
That said, it’s quite normal for women to have higher fat in those areas.  In fact, having higher fat content in their “stubborn” regions (butt, hips and thighs) is actually an indicator of good health.  Unfortunately the same can’t be said about the men.  Common stubborn fat areas like the lower belly and lower back do not represent good health.  Sorry guys.

So now that we know what stubborn fat is and how it’s different from regular fat… how to do we burn it off?Find Out Next Page →
